धृष्टकेतुस्ततस्तस्मात् सुकुमार: क्षितीश्वर: । वीतिहोत्रोऽस्य भर्गोऽतो भार्गभूमिरभून्नृप ॥ ९ ॥

হে ৰাজা পৰীক্ষিত, সত্যকেতুৰ পৰা ধৃষ্টকেতু জন্মিল; ধৃষ্টকেতুৰ পৰা সমগ্ৰ পৃথিৱীৰ অধিপতি সুকুমাৰ জন্মিল। সুকুমাৰৰ পৰা বীতিহোত্ৰ, তাৰ পৰা ভৰ্গ, আৰু ভৰ্গৰ পৰা ভার্গভূমি জন্মিল।
