ye ca tvāṃ mānavāḥ prātaḥ sāyaṃ ca susamāhitāḥ kīrtayiṣyanti teṣāṃ ca mahat puṇyaṃ bhaviṣyati
Sage Parāśara (teaching Maitreya; devotional instruction framed as Vishnu-stuti context)
This verse presents twice-daily remembrance and glorification of Vishnu as a disciplined devotional practice that generates great puṇya (spiritual merit).
Parāśara links the fruit of devotion not merely to recitation, but to a composed, attentive mind—suggesting inner alignment is essential for worship to bear spiritual results.
Vishnu is treated as the supreme refuge and worthy object of constant praise; devotion to him is portrayed as a direct means to accrue merit and uphold dharmic order.
