नन्दासु नाभ्यङ्गमुपाचरेत क्षौरं च रिक्तासु जयासु मांसम् पूर्णासु योषित्परिवर्जयेत भद्रासु सर्वाणि समाचरेत
nandāsu nābhyaṅgamupācareta kṣauraṃ ca riktāsu jayāsu māṃsam pūrṇāsu yoṣitparivarjayeta bhadrāsu sarvāṇi samācareta
في تِثي «نندَا» لا يُمارَس تدليك الزيت. وفي تِثي «رِكتَا» يُجتنب الحلق. وفي تِثي «جَيَا» تُجتنب اللحوم. وفي تِثي «بُورْنَا» يُمتنع عن النساء (المتعة الجنسية). أمّا في تِثي «بَهدْرَا» فيجوز الإتيان بجميع ذلك.

The verse ties everyday acts to ritual time-discipline: by regulating pleasure, grooming, and diet according to tithi-qualities, one cultivates mindfulness and subordinates impulse to dharmic order.
