कन्याजातस्तु कानीनः सगर्भोढः सहोकः मूल्यैर्गृहीतः क्रीतः स्याद् द्विविधः स्यात् पुनर्भवः
kanyājātastu kānīnaḥ sagarbhoḍhaḥ sahokaḥ mūlyairgṛhītaḥ krītaḥ syād dvividhaḥ syāt punarbhavaḥ
الولد المولود من فتاةٍ غير متزوجة يُسمّى «كانينا» (kānīna). والولد الذي تلده امرأة أُخذت زوجةً وهي حاملٌ من قبل يُسمّى «سَهوده» (sahodha)؛ وإن أُخذت مع ولدها سُمّي «سَهُوكه» (sahoka). ومن نيل بثمنٍ يُدعى «كريته» (krīta: المشتَرى). وأمّا «پونربهاڤه» (punarbhava: ولد المرأة المتزوجة ثانيةً) فقيل إنه على نوعين.
