होता॑ यक्षत्स॒मिधेन्द्र॑मि॒डस्प॒दे नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्या अधि॑ । दि॒वो वर्ष्म॒न्त्समि॑ध्यत॒ ओजि॑ष्ठश्चर्षणी॒सहां॒ वेत्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑

Transliteration

hótā yakṣat samídhéndram iḍás-páde nā́bhā pṛthivyā́ ádhi | divó várṣman samídhyata ójiṣṭhaś carṣaṇī-sáhāṁ vétv ā́jyasya hótar yája

Translation

لْيُقِمِ الهوتَرُ (Hotṛ) العبادةَ لإندرا بالحطبِ المُوقِد (samidh)، في مقامِ إيدَا (Iḍā)، على سُرَّةِ الأرض؛ وعلى ذُروةِ السماء فليُوقَدْ. الأقوى على الإطلاق، مُعينُ الشعوب—فليأتِ إلى قربانِ السَّمْنِ المُصفّى (ājya). يا هوتَرُ، أَقِمِ اليَجْنَا!
