तासां मुखेषु तं सूक्ष्मं प्राणस्स्थापयेत् रसम् । रसेन तेन नाडीस्ताः प्राणं पूरयते पुनः
tāsāṃ mukheṣu taṃ sūkṣmaṃ prāṇassthāpayet rasam | rasena tena nāḍīstāḥ prāṇaṃ pūrayate punaḥ
في أفواه (فتحات) تلك القنوات اللطيفة ينبغي أن يُثبَّت ذلك الجوهر الحيوي المصفّى، أي البرانا (prāṇa). وبهذا الجوهر نفسه تمتلئ تلك الناديات (nāḍī) من جديد ويتغلغل فيها نَفَسُ الحياة.

It presents prāṇa as a subtle, refining power that reanimates and purifies the nāḍīs, supporting inner steadiness required for Śiva-realization; in Shaiva Siddhanta, such purification helps the bound soul (paśu) loosen the bonds (pāśa) and turn toward Pati (Śiva).
The verse supports inner worship (antar-yāga): as the nāḍīs are filled with regulated prāṇa, the mind becomes fit for focused devotion to Saguna Śiva (Liṅga-dhyāna), which then matures toward recognizing Śiva’s transcendent nature beyond form.
A prāṇāyāma-style contemplation: placing awareness on the subtle pathways (nāḍīs) and ‘establishing’ prāṇa so the inner channels are filled—best paired with Śiva-mantra japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as a stabilizing support.
