पूर्वजन्मनि यत्कृत्यं शिवमु द्दिश्य हे सुत । तदेव लभ्यते नूनन्नात्र कार्या विचारणा । इति मातृवचश्श्रुन्वा व्याघ्रपादिस्स बालकः
pūrvajanmani yatkṛtyaṃ śivamu ddiśya he suta | tadeva labhyate nūnannātra kāryā vicāraṇā | iti mātṛvacaśśrunvā vyāghrapādissa bālakaḥ
«يا بُنيّ، أيُّ عملٍ فُعِل في الميلاد السابق قاصدًا به السيّد شيفا، فثماره هي بعينها تُنال الآن يقينًا؛ فلا حاجة لشكّ ولا لمزيد من التروّي.» فلما سمع الغلام فياغرابادا كلام أمه، وقر في قلبه.
