Nāgeśa-jyotirliṅga-prādurbhāvaḥ — The Manifestation of the Nāgeśa Jyotirliṅga
एतस्मिन्नंतरे तत्र नावो बहुतराः शुभाः । आगता बहुधा तत्र सर्वतो लोकसंवृताः
etasminnaṃtare tatra nāvo bahutarāḥ śubhāḥ | āgatā bahudhā tatra sarvato lokasaṃvṛtāḥ
وفي تلك الأثناء، في ذلك الموضع بعينه، وصلت قوارب كثيرة مباركة بأعدادٍ وافرة؛ تأتي مرارًا من كل جهة حتى غصَّ المكان بالناس من كل صوب.

Tattva Level: pashu
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga passage; the arrival of many boats crowded with people heightens the stakes—more bound souls (paśu) entering the field of danger.
Significance: Narratively underscores saṃsāric movement and congregation (loka-saṃvṛti) before crisis; later deliverance is read as Śiva’s protective grace.
It shows how Shiva-tirthas naturally draw devotees from all directions; such gathering (satsanga and tirtha-yatra) strengthens bhakti and supports inner purification that leads the soul (paśu) toward Shiva (Pati).
The Kotirudrasaṃhitā centers on Jyotirlinga glory; the influx of people symbolizes devotion to Saguna Shiva in the form of the Linga, where darśana, worship, and vows are performed collectively.
The verse implies tirtha-yatra and darśana; a practical takeaway is to approach the Jyotirlinga with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and disciplined worship, supported by purity and devotion.
