Lord Shiva (teaching yogic contemplation in the Kailasha Samhita discourse)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It teaches that liberation-oriented worship culminates in inner contemplation of Śiva as Parameśvara—pure Cit—realized in the highest yogic center (Sahasrāra/dvādaśānta), where awareness becomes clear and stainless.
The verse points to the inner (antar) Linga: meditating on Śiva as consciousness itself. In Shaiva Siddhānta, Saguna worship (form, mantra, Linga) purifies the devotee and leads toward this subtler realization of Pati as cidrūpa.
A dhyāna practice: steady the mind, lift attention to the crown (Sahasrāra/dvādaśānta), and contemplate Śiva as the ‘moon-disc of consciousness.’ This pairs naturally with japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Tripuṇḍra/Rudrākṣa observances to support purity and focus.
