Puruṣa–Prakṛti Analysis in Advaita Śaiva Doctrine
आत्मतत्त्वमकारस्स्याद्विद्या स्यादुस्ततः परम् । शिवतत्त्वम्मकारस्स्याद्वामदेवेति चिंत्यताम्
ātmatattvamakārassyādvidyā syādustataḥ param | śivatattvammakārassyādvāmadeveti ciṃtyatām
لْيُتَأَمَّلِ الحرفُ «A» على أنه مبدأُ الذات الفردية (ātma-tattva)، ولْتُعْتَبَرِ الـڤِدْيَا العُليا (vidyā) ما يَتَجَاوَزُه. ولْيُتَأَمَّلِ الحرفُ «Ma» على أنه مبدأُ شِيفا (śiva-tattva)، ويُتَعَبَّدُ به في التأمل بوصفه «فاماديفا» (Vāmadeva).

It teaches mantra-based contemplation where syllables are aligned with tattvas: the limited self (ātma-tattva) is recognized, and one is directed toward the supreme liberating knowledge and ultimately Śiva-tattva (Pati), the goal of Shaiva Siddhanta.
By linking sound (letters like “A” and “Ma”) to Śiva-tattva and Vāmadeva, it supports Saguna upāsanā: meditating on Śiva’s manifest aspects (such as Vāmadeva) as gateways to realizing the transcendent Śiva beyond bondage.
Japa and dhyāna on mantra-syllables with tattva-bhāvanā—mentally fixing “A” on the sense of the individual self and “Ma” on Śiva-tattva (Vāmadeva), integrating mantra recitation with contemplative insight.
