Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva’s prescribed ritual procedure to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: oṃ + vyāhṛti-krama: bhūḥ, bhuvaḥ, suvaḥ (each marked as saṃnyasta/installed)
Type: gayatri
Cosmic Event: Mapping mantra onto the three lokas (bhūr-bhuvaḥ-suvaḥ) as a microcosmic ordering of reality
It teaches mantra-nyāsa—‘installing’ sacred sound into the practitioner’s inner field—so worship becomes inwardly consecrated and aligned to Pati (Shiva) rather than remaining merely external.
Nyāsa prepares the devotee to approach the Liṅga with a sanctified body-mind; by placing mantra through the vyāhṛtis, the worshipper treats the self as Shiva’s temple before offering to Saguna Shiva in ritual.
A step-by-step nyāsa/recitation using the vyāhṛtis—Bhūḥ, Bhuvaḥ, Suvaḥ—uttering ‘saṃnyasta’ to affirm the mantra’s placement; it supports japa, dhyāna, and pūjā with steadiness and purity.
