vṛkaścidasya vāraṇa urāmathirā vayuneṣu bhūṣati semaṃ na stomaṃ jujuṣāṇa ā gahīndra pra citrayā dhiyā

إندرا—وإن كانَ ضاريًا كالذئب، دافعًا للعدوّ، واسعَ الإهاجة—يُمَجَّدُ في الـvayuna (السننِ المقدّسة). فاقبَلْ هذا الـstoma (نشيدَ الثناء) منّا برِضًا، وتعالَ إلى هنا، يا إندرا، بـdhī (قصدٍ/إلهام) مُتَلَأْلِئٍ متعدّدِ البهاء.
