सरमायाḥ सीतासान्त्वनम् तथा रावणनिश्चयश्रवणम्

मत्प्रियंयदिकर्तव्यंयदिबुद्धि: स्थिरातव ।ज्ञातुमिच्छामितंगत्वाकिंकरोतीतिरावणः ।।।।
matpriyaṃ yadi kartavyaṃ yadi buddhiḥ sthirā tava |
jñātum icchāmi taṃ gatvā kiṃ karotīti rāvaṇaḥ ||
إن كنتِ حقّاً تريدين ما يرضيني، وكانت عزيمتكِ ثابتة، فاذهبي وتحقّقي ممّا يفعله رافَنا الآن؛ فإني أريد أن أعلم.
