Ravana’s Shakti Javelin and Lakshmana’s Wounding

mokṣitaṃ bhrātaraṃ dṛṣṭvā lakṣmaṇena sa rāvaṇaḥ |

فلما رأى رافَنا أخاه فيبيشانا وقد أنقذه لاكشمانا، وقف مواجهًا لاكشمانا وقال هذه الكلمات.
Thus spoke Ravana seeing Lakshmana who stood facing him, who rescued his brother (Vibheeshana).
The narrative sets up a moral confrontation: protection of the righteous versus retaliation driven by pride and anger.
Rāvaṇa turns from action to speech, directly addressing Lakṣmaṇa after Vibhīṣaṇa is saved.
Lakṣmaṇa’s role as protector is implicitly affirmed by the enemy’s recognition.
