Vision of the Pushpaka Aerial Chariot
स तस्य मध्ये भवनस्य संस्थितंमहद्विमानं मणिवज्रचित्रितम्।प्रतप्तजाम्बूनदजालकृत्रिमंददर्श वीरः पवनात्मजः कपिः।।।।
sa tasya madhye bhavanasya saṁsthitaṁ mahad vimānaṁ maṇivajracitritam | prataptajāmbūnadajālakṛtrimaṁ dadarśa vīraḥ pavanātmajaḥ kapiḥ ||5.8.1||
وفي وسط ذلك القصر أبصر القردُ البطلُ—هَنومان ابنُ إله الريح—مركبةً سماويةً عظيمة (فيمانا)، مزدانةً بزخارف الجواهر والماس، ذات نوافذ مشبّكة صُنعت من ذهبٍ مصقولٍ متلألئ.
The courageous son of the Wind-god, Hanuman, the vanara saw the aerial chariot kept in the middle of the mansion inlaid with gems and diamonds latticed with artificial windows of barnished gold.
Dharma here is steadfast duty under risk: Hanumān penetrates the heart of enemy space, yet remains composed and observant, using knowledge responsibly for a righteous mission.
Entering deeper into the royal mansion complex, Hanumān sees the great vimāna placed centrally, richly ornamented.
Śaurya with vinaya (bravery with restraint): he dares much but does not become reckless or noisy.
