हनूमत्सीतासंवादः
Hanumān–Sītā Dialogue and Identity Verification
सोऽवतीर्य द्रुमात्तस्माद्विद्रुमप्रतिमाननः।विनीतवेषः कृपणः प्रणिपत्योपसृत्य च।।।।तामब्रवीन्महातेजा हनूमान्मारुतात्मजः।शिरस्यञ्जलिमाधाय सीतां मधुरया गिरा।।।।
so ’vatīrya drumāt tasmād vidruma-pratimānanaḥ | vinīta-veṣaḥ kṛpaṇaḥ praṇipatya upasṛtya ca || tām abravīn mahātejā hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ | śirasy añjalim ādhāya sītāṃ madhurayā girā ||
ثم نزل من تلك الشجرة هانومان، ووجهه متلألئ كالشَّعَب المرجاني. وتقدّم في هيئة متواضعة، في حالٍ من التذلّل والوقار؛ فانحنى وسجد واقترب. ذلك البطل العظيم التوهّج، ابنُ الريح، رفع كفّيه المضمومتين إلى رأسه وخاطب سيتا بكلام عذب.
Hanuman, son of the Wind-god whose face shone like coral, dressed in a sober manner climbed down the tree, went close to Sita, offered salutations with his palms on his head and spoke in sweet words:
Dharma here is maryādā (proper conduct): Hanuman approaches a distressed, guarded woman with humility, reverence, and self-restraint, minimizing fear and honoring her dignity.
After observing Sita from concealment, Hanuman climbs down and formally approaches her to begin communication.
Hanuman’s vinaya (humility) and tact—he chooses respectful gestures and gentle speech to build trust.
