समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
पाण्डुरारुणवर्णानि नीलमाञ्जिष्ठकानि च।कपिनाकृष्यमाणानि महाभ्राणि चकाशिरे।।।।
pāṇḍurāruṇavarṇāni nīlamāñjiṣṭhakāni ca |
kapinākṛṣyamāṇāni mahābhrāṇi cakāśire ||
وإذ كان حنومان يجرّ كتلًا عظيمة من السحاب—منها الشاحب ومنها المحمّر ومنها الأزرق الداكن أو المائل إلى لون المَنْجِشْثا—كانت تلك السحب الجليلة تتلألأ في أثره.
While Hanuman was drawing big clouds which were either white or red or blue or yellow, he looked charming.
Dharma is implied through steadfast service: Hanumān’s divine-like energy is directed toward a righteous mission (Rāma’s cause), showing that power gains meaning when aligned with duty.
Hanumān is mid-flight over the ocean toward Laṅkā; the poet describes the dramatic visual of clouds being pulled and illuminated around him.
Vīrya (heroic vigor) and niṣṭhā (single-minded resolve) in carrying out a dharmic task.
