समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
येनासौ याति बलवान् वेगेन कपिकुञ्जरः।तेन मार्गेण सहसा द्रोणीकृत इवार्णवः।।।।
yenāsau yāti balavān vegena kapikuñjaraḥ | tena mārgeṇa sahasā droṇīkṛta ivārṇavaḥ ||
وحين اندفع ذلك القويّ، «فيلُ القردة»، في مساره بسرعةٍ عاتية، بدا المحيط على ذلك الطريق بعينه كأنه حُفِر فجأةً وصار كالمِعْلَفَةِ العميقة.
As the powerful monkey, an elephant among vanaras, was proceeding swiftly along, the ocean got instantly transformed into a trough on account of water swelling by the force of his flight.
Dharma is single-minded execution of responsibility: righteous resolve ‘carves a path’ even through vast obstacles, making the impossible seem traversable.
The narration depicts the ocean’s surface reacting to Hanumān’s passage, as if a channel forms along his flight-path.
Kārya-kauśala (effectiveness in action): his power is not merely great, but produces decisive progress toward the goal.
