समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
स नानाकुसुमैः कीर्णः कपिः साङ्कुरकोरकैः।शुशुभे मेघसङ्काशः खद्योतैरिव पर्वतः।।।।
sa nānākusumaiḥ kīrṇaḥ kapiḥ sāṅkurakorakaiḥ |
śuśubhe meghasaṅkāśaḥ khadyotair iva parvataḥ ||
وقد تناثر عليه شتى الأزهار مع البراعم والكمائم، فتلألأ ذلك القرد كالسحاب، كجبل يلمع كأنه مرصّع باليراعات.
Covered with tender sprouts and buds of different kinds of flowers Hanuman shone brightly like a flying mountain with fireflies.
Dharma is luminous when embodied: the imagery suggests that righteous endeavor ‘shines’—it becomes visible and inspiring to the world.
Hanumān continues his flight, covered in blossoms and buds swept up from the mountain, appearing like a radiant moving mass in the sky.
