rāmārthaṃ vānarārthaṃ ca cikīrṣan karma duṣkaram | samudrasya paraṃ pāraṃ duṣprāpaṃ prāptum icchati ||

Translation

وإذ أراد أن ينجز عملاً عسيرًا يكاد يكون مستحيلاً—من أجل راما ومن أجل قضية الفانارا—تاق إلى بلوغ الشاطئ الآخر للمحيط، وهو بعيد المنال.
