हनूमद्विक्रम-प्रशंसा तथा महेन्द्रारोहणम्
Hanuman’s Self-Assertion of Power and Ascent of Mount Mahendra
मारुतस्य समो वेगे गरुडस्य समो जवे।अयुतं योजनानां तु गमिष्यामीति मे मतिः।।4.67.28।।
mārutasya samo vege garuḍasya samo jave | ayutaṃ yojanānāṃ tu gamiṣyāmīti me matiḥ || 4.67.28 ||
في السرعة أنا نظيرُ إله الريح، وفي الخِفّة نظيرُ غارودا؛ وإني أعتقد أني أستطيع قطع عشرة آلاف يوجانا.
'I am equal to Maruta and Garuda in speed. I feel I can cover ten thousand yojanas (at a stretch).
