यौवने वर्तमानस्य ममासीद्यः पराक्रमः।।।।तमेवाद्यावगच्छामि बलं पौरुषमेव च।

Transliteration

yauvane vartamānasya mamāsīd yaḥ parākramaḥ | tam evādyāvagacchāmi balaṃ pauruṣam eva ca ||

Translation

إن البأس الذي كان لي في شبابي—أدرك اليوم أن القوة نفسها والشجاعة الرجولية عينها ما تزالان فيّ.
