पाण्डुराभ्रप्रकाशानि दिव्यमाल्ययुतानि च।प्रभूतधनधान्यानि स्त्रीरत्नै श्शोभितानि च।।।।
pāṇḍurābhraprakāśāni divyamālyayutāni ca |
prabhūtadhanadhānyāni strīratnaiḥ śobhitāni ca ||
كانت تتلألأ كالسحب البيضاء الشاحبة، مزدانة بأكاليل سماوية، وافرة بالمال والحبوب، ومتألقة بحضور النساء الشريفات.
These homes were shining like white clouds, with wonderful garlands hung on, filled with abundance of wealth, grains and best of females.
Prosperity is implicitly linked with ordered life and righteous governance: abundance (grain, wealth) and dignified household life are portrayed as fruits of stability and dharmic social structure.
The narration shifts from naming leaders to describing the visual grandeur of their residences as Lakṣmaṇa moves through the city.
Lakṣmaṇa’s restraint: he witnesses luxury and beauty yet remains intent on duty and truthful purpose (satya-saṅkalpa) in Rāma’s cause.
