वालिवधोत्तरशोकः

Sugriva’s Remorse and Tara’s Lament after Vali’s Death

द्रुमशाखावभग्नोऽहं मुहुर्तं परिनिष्टनन्।सान्त्वयित्वा त्वनेनोक्तो न पुनः कर्तुमर्हसि।।

druma-śākhāvabhagno ’haṃ muhūrtaṃ pariniṣṭanan | sāntvayitvā tv anenokto na punaḥ kartum arhasi ||

لما صُرِعتُ بضربةِ غُصنِ شجرةٍ صِحتُ هنيهةً؛ لكنه واساني وقال: «لا يليق أن تفعل هذا مرةً أخرى».
