'O heroic Rama! fulfil quickly the vow taken by you earlier to kill Vali in the same way a creeper bears fruit when the time comes.'
Satya and dharma as promise-keeping: once a righteous vow is given for protecting the distressed and restoring justice, it should be fulfilled at the proper time without delay.
Sugrīva urges Rāma to act now on his earlier pledge to slay Vāli, since the moment for confrontation has arrived.
Rāma’s steadfastness to truth (satya) and reliability in upholding pledged protection.
