The Dundubhi Episode and the Proof of Rama’s Prowess
तमेवमुक्त्वा सङ्कृद्धो मालामुत्क्षिप्य काञ्चनीम्।पित्रा दत्तां महेन्द्रेण युद्धाय व्यवतिष्ठत4.11.39।।
tam evam uktvā saṅkṛddho mālām utkṣipya kāñcanīm |
pitrā dattāṃ mahendreṇa yuddhāya vyavatiṣṭhata ||
فلما قال ذلك، اشتدّ غضبُ فالي، فطرح الإكليلَ الذهبي الذي وهبه له أبوه ماهيندرا (إندرا)، وتهيّأ للقتال وثبت لميدان الحرب.
'Having addressed thus in a rage, Vali removed the golden garland gifted by Indra, his father, and stood ready for the combat.
