जटायुरावणयुद्धम्
Jatayu’s Combat with Ravana
स परिष्वज्य च वैदेहीं वामेनाङ्केन रावणः।।।।तलेनाभिजघानाशु जटायुं क्रोधमुर्छीतः।
sa pariṣvajya ca vaidehīṁ vāmenāṅkena rāvaṇaḥ | talenābhijaghānāśu jaṭāyuṁ krodha-mūrchitaḥ ||
أمسك رافانا، الذي جن جنونه من الغضب، بفيديهي بذراعه اليسرى وضرب جاتايا بسرعة براحة يده.
Losing his senses, with rage, Ravana held Vaidehi (Sita) with his left arm and hit Jatayu with his palm.
Adharma compounds itself: Rāvaṇa’s injustice (abduction) is sustained through coercion and rage, showing how loss of self-control drives further wrongdoing.
While restraining Sītā, Rāvaṇa strikes Jaṭāyu in anger to break his resistance.
Sītā’s dignity is implicitly protected by Jaṭāyu’s stand; Rāvaṇa displays the vice of rage-driven aggression.
