The Slaying (Burial) of Viradha
स विद्धो बहुभिर्बाणैः खङ्गाभ्यां च परिक्षतः।निष्पिष्टो बहुधा भूमौ न ममार स राक्षसः।।।।
sa viddho bahubhir bāṇaiḥ khaṅgābhyāṃ ca parikṣataḥ | niṣpiṣṭo bahudhā bhūmau na mamāra sa rākṣasaḥ ||
مع أنه طُعن بكثير من السهام، وقُطّع بسيفين، وسُحق على الأرض مرارًا، فإن ذلك الرّاكشسا لم يمت.
On hearing those words of Sita, both the heroes, Rama and Lakshmana hastened to kill the wicked Viradha.
