Rama, Dasaratha's son, has long arms, large eyes. He is clad in deer-skin and bark. He resembles Cupid.
Dharma is implied through Rāma’s forest attire: the prince accepts austere dress and discipline, honoring duty over comfort.
Śūrpaṇakhā describes Rāma’s appearance and presence to Rāvaṇa while recounting the events at Janasthāna.
Self-control and dignity: despite beauty and royal birth, Rāma bears the marks of disciplined life in exile.
