न पित्र्यमनुवर्तन्ते मातृकं द्विपदा इति।ख्यातो लोकप्रवादोऽयं भरतेनान्यथा कृतः।।।।
na pitryam anuvartante mātṛkaṃ dvipadā iti | khyāto lokapravādo ’yaṃ bharatenānyathā kṛtaḥ ||
إن المثل الشائع في الدنيا: «الناس يتبعون طريق الأم لا الأب» قد جعله بهاراتا على غير ما يُقال، إذ أقام سبيل أبيه القويم.
