मार्कंडेय उवाच । अश्रद्धेयं न वक्तव्यं प्रत्यक्षमपि तद्भवेत् । नरस्य श्रद्दधानस्य पापोपहतचेतसः
mārkaṃḍeya uvāca | aśraddheyaṃ na vaktavyaṃ pratyakṣamapi tadbhavet | narasya śraddadhānasya pāpopahatacetasaḥ
قال ماركانديّا: «لا ينبغي أن يُحدَّث المرءُ بما لا يقبله بإيمان، ولو كان ذلك بيّنًا للعيان؛ فإنّ من جُرِحَ قلبُه بالذنب لا ينهض فيه صدقُ الثقة».
