The verse highlights jala-praveśa (entering/immersing in water), i.e., ritual bathing at a famed saṅgama (river confluence) as a means of gaining tīrtha-merit.
Saṅgama typically means the meeting-point of two or more rivers and is treated as especially potent for snāna (bathing), dāna (charity), and other rites due to its sanctified geography.
It frames abundant enjoyments (bhoga) alongside attaining/approaching the tīrtha, a common Purāṇic pattern that links righteous acts (like sacred bathing) with both worldly well-being and religious merit.
