FAQs

It states that beings who have departed from heaven are reborn as humans, indicating that heavenly enjoyment is temporary and followed by return to human birth.

The verse presents noble birth and attractive, agreeable presence as residual fruits of prior merit (puṇya) accumulated before or during the heavenly state.

Merit yields favorable conditions (birth, reputation, appearance), but since even heaven ends, the passage implicitly encourages pursuing lasting spiritual aims beyond temporary rewards.
