It sacralizes the Gaṅgā–Yamunā region by mapping it onto the body of the Earth, presenting the interfluvial land between the two rivers as a revered cosmic “anatomy” zone associated with pilgrimage.
By praising Gaṅgā as “lokabhāvinī” (benefactress of the worlds), it frames devotion and reverence toward sacred rivers and tīrthas as spiritually fruitful, encouraging faith-filled participation in pilgrimage traditions.
It teaches respect for sacred natural entities—especially rivers—viewing them as world-sustaining and worthy of careful, reverent conduct rather than exploitation or disregard.
