असत्या च हता वाणी तथा पैशुन्यवादिनी । षट्कर्णगो हतो मंत्रो व्यग्रचित्तो हतो जपः

asatyā ca hatā vāṇī tathā paiśunyavādinī | ṣaṭkarṇago hato maṃtro vyagracitto hato japaḥ

تَفْسُدُ الكلمةُ إذا كانت كاذبة، وكذلك إذا كانت نمّامةً مُغتابة. ويَفْسُدُ المانترا إذا صار «ذو ستة آذان» (سمعه غير المقصود)، ويَفْسُدُ الجَپَا إذا كان القلبُ مشتّتًا.
