The Greatness of the Kāliṇdī (Yamunā): Merit of Bathing, Charity, and Faith

कृमिवर्चस्तु भस्मादि परिणामगुणावहम् । ईदृक्शरीरं व्यर्थं हि यमुनामज्जनं विना

kṛmivarcastu bhasmādi pariṇāmaguṇāvaham | īdṛkśarīraṃ vyarthaṃ hi yamunāmajjanaṃ vinā

هذا الجسد ليس إلا قذارة الديدان ونجاسة، وبحكم سنّة التحوّل يؤول إلى الرماد وما شابهه. فمثل هذا الجسد حقًّا لا جدوى منه دون الاغتسال في اليَمونا المقدّسة (Yamunā).
