Concept: Reaching a rare, potent tīrtha with sincerity purifies accumulated sin and opens the path to higher worlds.

Application: Seek ‘rare Kedāra’ equivalents: difficult but elevating disciplines—pilgrimage, retreat, sustained japa—done with humility; treat hardship as part of purification rather than as a barrier.

FAQs

It states that reaching the rare Kedāra of Kapiṣṭhala purifies one from all sins and leads to attainment of Brahmaloka (the world of Brahmā).

The verse highlights a specific sacred site—“Kedāra of Kapiṣṭhala”—as a rare pilgrimage destination within the Svarga-khaṇḍa’s sacred geography.

The lesson is that purification (viśuddhātmatā) and spiritual ascent are linked to sincere engagement with sacred practice—here framed as reaching a difficult/rare tirtha associated with great merit.
