पारमेश्वरे तपस्तप्त्वा अहल्या मुक्तिमागमत् । चैत्रमासे तु संप्राप्ते शुक्लपक्षे त्रयोदशी

pārameśvare tapastaptvā ahalyā muktimāgamat | caitramāse tu saṃprāpte śuklapakṣe trayodaśī

بعد أن أدّت أهليا (Ahalyā) التقشّف تعبّدًا للربّ الأعلى باراميشڤارا (Parameśvara)، نالت الخلاص. ولما حلّ شهر تشيترا (Caitra)، في النصف المضيء، كان ذلك اليوم القمري الثالث عشر (ترايوداشي Trayodaśī).
