कथयध्वं महाभागा एतदिच्छामि वेदितुम् । एवमुक्तास्तु रुद्रेणाकथयन्नमितव्रताः

kathayadhvaṃ mahābhāgā etadicchāmi veditum | evamuktāstu rudreṇākathayannamitavratāḥ

«أخبروني يا ذوي الحظّ العظيم؛ فإني أودّ أن أعلم ذلك.» فلمّا خاطبهم رودرا هكذا، تكلّم أصحابُ النذورِ التي لا حدّ لها.
