vyāsa uvāca | grahādayo ye loke tu bhuṃjaṃti puṇyapātakam | śivāśivaṃ ca kurvaṃti viśvakarmakṣayāya vai
Vyāsa
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Sandhi Resolution Notes:
It presents grahas as instruments through which beings undergo the results of their own merit and sin—mediating outcomes rather than independently creating destiny.
It supports moral responsibility: the grahas are described as enabling the fruition and exhaustion of one’s accumulated karma, not as the ultimate source of actions or ethical outcomes.
One should focus on righteous conduct and spiritual discipline, since auspicious and inauspicious experiences are tied to one’s deeds and will be worked out in due course.
