Devī (Saṃdhyā)

FAQs

She is the Devī identified with Saṃdhyā—the sacred twilight junction (dawn/dusk) central to daily worship—present here as an indwelling divine form within the maṇḍala.

It implies the Goddess is envisioned as residing within a defined sacred circle/ritual sphere (maṇḍala), highlighting a cosmological-ritual mapping where divinity is installed or contemplated in a consecrated space.

It underscores reverence for liminal sacred times (twilight) and the discipline of honoring divine presence through worship—suggesting that regular, time-bound devotion is itself esteemed, even by the gods.
