Brahmin Right Conduct: Morning Remembrance, Bathing, Purification, and Tarpaṇa Method

तर्पणं देवतानां च पूर्वं कृत्वा समाहितः । अधिकारी भवेत्पश्चात्पितॄणां तर्पणे बुधः

tarpaṇaṃ devatānāṃ ca pūrvaṃ kṛtvā samāhitaḥ | adhikārī bhavetpaścātpitṝṇāṃ tarpaṇe budhaḥ

بعد أن يُؤدّي أولًا، بقلبٍ حاضرٍ وعقلٍ مجموع، طَرْبَنَةَ (سَكْبَ الماء قربانًا) للآلهة، يصير الحكيم بعد ذلك مُستحقًّا لأداء طَرْبَنَةِ الأسلاف (الپِتْرِ).
