दीर्घायुस्तस्य वाक्येन चिरंजीवी भवेन्नरः । अनभिवादनाद्विप्र द्वेषादश्रद्धयापि च

dīrghāyustasya vākyena ciraṃjīvī bhavennaraḥ | anabhivādanādvipra dveṣādaśraddhayāpi ca

بكلمته ينال الإنسان طولَ العمر، بل يبلغ حياةً مديدةً جدًّا؛ ولكن، أيها البراهمن، يضيع هذا الأثر حتى بترك التحية الموقّرة، وكذلك بسبب البغضاء، بل وحتى بسبب انعدام الإيمان.
