विश्वं विश्वपतिर्यश्च स तु नारायणः स्मृतः । यत्सत्यं यदनृतमादिमध्यभूतं यच्चांत्यं निरवधिकं च यद्भविष्यम्

مَن هو الكونُ وربُّ الكون يُذكَر باسم نارايانا (Nārāyaṇa)؛ هو الحقّ، وهو أيضًا ما يبدو كغير الحقّ؛ هو البدء والوسط، وهو كذلك المنتهى؛ هو غير المتناهي، وهو أيضًا ما سيأتي (المستقبل).
