तत्र गत्वा वरं त्वेष मदर्थे याचतामिमम् । वामनस्यास्य विप्रस्य भूमे राजन्पदत्रयम्

tatra gatvā varaṃ tveṣa madarthe yācatāmimam | vāmanasyāsya viprasya bhūme rājanpadatrayam

اذهب إلى هناك، ومن أجلي اطلب هذه النعمة: أيها الملك، اسأل البراهمن فامانا—وهو القزم—هبةَ ثلاثِ خطواتٍ من الأرض.
