अन्नदानं पयोदानमभयं दानमुत्तमम् । रत्नदानानि सर्वाणि विप्रेभ्यश्चादिशन्महान्
annadānaṃ payodānamabhayaṃ dānamuttamam | ratnadānāni sarvāṇi viprebhyaścādiśanmahān
إنّ صدقةَ الطعام، وصدقةَ اللبن، وصدقةَ الأمان من الخوف تُعلَن أسمى أنواع العطاء؛ وقد أوصى العظيمُ أيضًا بأن تُقدَّم جميعُ هباتِ الجواهر إلى البراهمة.
