Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
Sandhi Resolution Notes:
The verse instructs that a brāhmaṇa who recites or expounds the Purāṇa (purāṇavācaka) should be honored.
It explicitly says the honoring should be done 'bhaktibhāvataḥ'—with devotional intention—showing that inner devotion is central even when making external offerings.
It teaches gratitude and support for sacred learning and teaching: one should respectfully sustain those who preserve and transmit dharma through Purāṇic recitation, using appropriate gifts and reverent conduct.
