Brāhmaṇī (a Brahmin woman)
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: raudra
Type: city
Sandhi Resolution Notes:
A brāhmaṇī is speaking; she urges fearless, unhurried speech, but then declares she wants to leave after witnessing the other person's improper conduct (anīti).
The verse underscores that unethical behavior (anīti) undermines trust and relationship stability, prompting withdrawal; it also values speaking truthfully and calmly without fear.
It frames dharma as visible through behavior: when conduct becomes improper, a righteous person may choose separation, while communication should be candid and free from fear.
