Kurukṣetra-yātrā-krama
श्राद्धे फलमरण्यस्य स्मरणं पितृतृप्तिदम् । पाणिघाते ततस्तीर्थे पितॄन्संतर्प्य मानवः ॥ ८० ॥
śrāddhe phalamaraṇyasya smaraṇaṃ pitṛtṛptidam | pāṇighāte tatastīrthe pitṝnsaṃtarpya mānavaḥ || 80 ||
في شعيرة الشرادّها (śrāddha)، إن تذكّر فَلَمَرَṇْيَة (Phalamaraṇya) يمنح الرضا للـ«پِتْرِ» (أرواح الأسلاف). ثم بعد ذلك، عند المَعبر المقدّس المسمّى پَانِيغَاتَا (Pāṇighāta)، ينبغي للإنسان أن يُرضي الـپِتْرِ بتقديم القرابين.
