Procedure for the Guḍa-dhenū (Jaggery-Cow) Gift; Ten Dhenu-dānas; Yearlong Gaṅgā Worship and Darśana
एवं दत्वा विधानेन धेनुं द्विजवराय च । प्रदक्षिणीकृत्य विप्रं दक्षिणाभिः प्रतोष्य च ॥ ३० ॥
evaṃ datvā vidhānena dhenuṃ dvijavarāya ca | pradakṣiṇīkṛtya vipraṃ dakṣiṇābhiḥ pratoṣya ca || 30 ||
وهكذا، بعد أن يُهدِي المرءُ بقرةً على الوجه المرسوم في الشريعة إلى براهمنٍ فاضل، فعليه أن يطوف به طوافَ التبرّك (برَدَكشِنا) وأن يزيده سرورًا بتقديم الدكشِنا، أي العطايا الكهنوتية.
